YETTER RESIDUE
MANAGERS
What It Takes To
Be #1 - The Right Tools, The Right Choice!

|

|
Designed
Right, Built Tough
In your
fields, moving residue can be hard on equipment. You need tools
that are designed right and built tough. Yetter residue managers
feature the strongest wheel system in the industry.

- The 16
fingers are laser cut to preserve the steel's temper. Each
wheel is heat-treated for greater durability.
- Wider at
the base for strength, the fingers taper to the broad,
slanted point needed to move residue within clean strokes
that parallel the ground.
- The hubs'
smooth-headed bolts eliminate snagging.
- Interior
and exterior seals protect double rows of heavy-duty
greasable bearings.
- Bolt-on
hubcaps stay in place and keep dirt out.

Yetter
is the #1 name in equipment that prepares the perfect seedbed,
precisely places nutrients, handles bulk seed, and improved
planting efficiency. Yetter has unmatched experience - 74 years
and counting - in designing and building planter attachments and
other agricultural productivity tools. It takes that experience,
in the field, side by side with you, to develop the expertise
that informs every step of what they do. Nobody offers more
coulters, residue managers, fertilizer placement and other
equipment. This array of equipment is what it takes to give you
the right equipment in the right configuration for your planter,
your operation, your soils. Yetter is #1 in equipment that works
and #1 in return on investment - in improved productivity,
increased yields, and increased profitability. If, during the
first 30 days, your Yetter equipment doesn't perform as
promised, Yetter will repair it, replace it, or buy it back.
That's their guarantee.

Cut 'N
Feed™ Coulter Combination
The
new Cut 'n Feed™ Coulter Combination presents residue cutting,
coulter tillage, and fertilizing in one tool. Each coulter has
independent depth adjustment, so you can apply fertilizer at a
different depth than the seed. The residue cutting coulter opens
the seed trench ahead of the double disc opener, while the
fertilizer coulter injects a band of fertilizer close to the seed
for optimum yield response.

Residue
Manager with SharkTooth™ Wheel
This design draws on all Yetter's experience in residue
management to address today's tougher conditions - including
tech hybrids and corn-on-corn acreage. The SharkTooth™ removes
residue from in front of the row, but won't throw it in front of
those adjacent. Sharp, backward-sloping teeth grab and
completely sever residue for easier removal, and they maintain a
consistent and constant contact at the soil surface. The flat
wheel design reduces soil disturbance.

|
 |
Narrow Row
Residue Manager
This is
perfect for narrow row planters where clearance for residue
management is limited. It offers the same features as our
standard residue manager, and moves a narrow strip of residue to
ensure proper seed placement without hairpinning, but it
tightens the distance between the back of the wheels.

71
Series Planter Unit
Simple,
low-cost, accurate, dependable and flexible. This describes the
71 Planter Unit. It's designed and built to last, with 12"
heat-treated double disc openers that easily handle hard or high
residue soil conditions. Parallel linkages, simple depth control
and adjustable down pressure springs keep seed depth uniform in
varying terrain. Big 1.3 bushel hoppers are positioned for fast,
easy refills. Heavy-duty, self-contained ground drives deliver
smooth running and accurate seeding across the range of row
spacings. A wide array of press wheels and options ensures that
the 71 Series becomes exactly the planter unit you need. |
|

Available to
fit John Deere 1700, 7200 and 7300 planters, and mounting
attachment arms adapt to Kinze and Johne Deere 7000 and 7100
planters. |
Tuffwear™
Extended Life Carbide Scraper
They're called Tuffwear™ because they're made of
wear-resistant carbide for extreme conditions and extended life.
Pressed into a corrosion-resistant stainless steel mounting
bracket, the carbide insert contacts the double disc opener
blade to prevent soil build-up. To give these scrapers maximum
life, tungsten carbide and cobalt powders are compressed and
then heat-treated to wear 100 times longer than steel in the
same conditions. |

Angled
Tooth Closing Wheel
Designed especially for JD 1590/1690/1890 no-till openers,
the Angled Tooth Closing Wheel features a thin, backswept angled
tooth which allows for easy soil penetration, improved seed
furrow closing and optimum seed-to-soil contact. The result is
faster, uniform emergence and optimum root growth for improved
yield potential. The backswept tooth configuration also delivers
self-cleaning action to reduce build-up in damp or sticky soils,
while the improved hubcap design speeds assembly and
installation. |
