The BLU-JET SubTiller II effectively lifts and fractures the hardpan and wheel compaction caused by heavy equipment. The deep penetrating shanks, 14" to 18", fracture up to 20" on either side of the shank with minimal surface disturbance. Large 20" spring-cushion coulters easily cut through heavy trash. When crop residue is only slightly disturbed, erosion is controlled. This year-round conservation tillage tool helps you maximize moisture absorption, reduce runoff and keep the water available during the growing season. Engineered for maximum performance, t-line shank design increases the lifting and fracturing of compacted soil. The BLU-JET SubTiller II is available in four models, ranging from 8 feet to 21 feet, offering a choice of shear-bolt, or flex-trip shanks. Each model is available with two to nine shanks, three-point or pull-type.

BLU-JET STRIP TILL SYSTEMS
With it's compact construction and 1200 pounds of residue slicing pressure, the Super 1200 Coulter provides outstanding residue flow and is the first vital component in the Blu-Jet StripTill system.
	The ResidueManager moves residue aside after the coulter providing a low residue strip. The conical spiked-tooth blade rotates freely, it's spring steel mounting allows it to float above the ground for maximum residue movement. The ResidueManager mounts to existing BLU-JET coulters.
BLU-JET Edgebent or SubTiller shanks are available to meet the needs of your operation. SubTiller shanks shatter hard pan up to 18" deep and allow the producer to reduce compaction while firming and shaping the seedbed. Edgebent shanks require less horsepower and give a producer the ability to run up to a 16R30 tool.
	In addition to the independant free floating arms that allow for superior residue flow, the SealPro Disc Hiller comes with a choice of three different blades. This provides the flexibility necessary to make them perfect for any StripTill operation.
A rubber torsion bar mounting in the StripTill Firming Basket gives it the advantage of being low maintenance without sacrificing down pressure. The basket's crossbars crumble and firm the soil leaving a finished seedbed ready for planting.

How the Blu-Jet SubTiller Fractures Hardpan... The following picture shows an example of how the BLU-JET SubTiller fractures hardpan in an Iowa field. The water was readily absorbed after a heavy rain, allowing it to infiltrate through the root zone and become stored in the subsoil instead of running off. Maximum absorption is achieved through a full fracture of the hardpan between the shanks. BLU-JET's shank design and full loosening FallTill point allows the SubTiller to achieve full fracture of hardpan between the shanks. Other brands, which only zonetill a portion of the soil profile, would have standing water for a much longer time.
